Atlético de San Luis beats América and achieves first victory in the Mexican tournament

MEXICO CITY, Feb 5 (Reuters) – Atlético de San Luis achieved its first victory in the Grita México C22 tournament on Saturday after beating América 3-2 on matchday four.

The Spanish Unai Bilbao, the Uruguayan Abel Hernández and the Argentine Germán Berterame scored the winning goals. The Colombian Roger Martínez and Henry Martín discounted for the “Eagles” of America.

In the match played at the Azteca stadium, Atlético de San Luis put América’s goal in danger after three minutes with a header by Ricardo Chávez that hit the crossbar after a deflection by Guillermo Ochoa.
