It’s once again time to vote for the Montgomery-area girls high school athlete of the week.
Last week, Autaugaville’s Elisa Golson was voted to victory as part of an Eagles sweep. There are five candidates for the first week of February.

DeJaria Lewis, Prattville
- Scored 16 points and brought down 20 rebounds (10 offensive) in a 47-33 win over Enterprise on Feb. 1, also had four steals and three blocks
Ella Jane Connell, Prattville Christian
- Became Prattville Christian’s all-time leading scorer by scoring her 2,126th career point in a 75-35 win over Montevallo on Feb. 1, had 20 points for the game
- Scored 29 points and added five assists in a 68-63 win over St. James on Feb. 4
- Finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a 65-32 win over Wetumpka on Jan. 31
Grace Seale, Hooper Academy
- Scored 20 points in a 58-28 win over Macon East Academy on Feb. 1, leading the Colts to the quarterfinals of the AISA Class AA tournament
Ja’Mirica Roberson, Jeff Davis
- Had a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double in a 62-44 Senior Night win over Lee on Feb. 1
Julienne Pharrams, Montgomery Catholic
- Grabbed 21 rebounds in a 50-23 win over Calhoun on Feb. 1, also scored 12 points and racked up five steals
- Had 11 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-21 win over BTW-Magnet on Feb. 3
