The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office announced that the eight people who lost their lives in the accident of a passenger truck, which overturned after a cargo truck crossed its lane during the morning, have already been identified. of last February 6 near the Nuevo Xcán community.

According to the report released through its official Twitter account, five of the victims were identified with Mexican nationality, while the remaining three were of foreign origin. However, it is still unknown which country they came from.

The bus was carrying about 45 passengers, including minors and foreigners, and was heading to Mérida, Yucatán. In addition to the 18 deaths, the spectacular accident left a balance of 28 people pressed and 19 injured, who were helped by the emergency services of four municipalities of Quintana Roo, including elements of the National Guard and elements of the state police and municipal.
