Kansas City Chiefs considering stadium options that would relocate team

March 29, 2022

In a wild turn of events, Kansas City Chiefs Mark Donovan said the team is considering moving the team out of town.

Don’t look now Kansas City Chiefs fans, but team president Mark Donovan just provided an update that no one is going to like. Donovan said on Tuesday morning that the team is considering options for a new stadium, which would include a move away from Kansas City.

What in the world? With this, not only would the Chiefs leave Kansas City, but they could also leave Missouri as well. This would be heartbreaking for so many.

The Chiefs leaving Kansas City would be infuriate countless people

A quick look at the replies of this new update has Kansas City fans beyond mad. The team has brought back so many wonderful memories to Arrowhead. No one will ever forget the team winning the Super Bowl over the San Francisco 49ers just a few seasons back.

On top of that, Patrick Mahomes has become one of the best signal-callers in the game and this team dazzles on Sundays. With that said, the idea of this team leaving the city just doesn’t feel right. While a move to Kansas, if it were to happen, isn’t that far away, it’s still going to be strange for the team.

Right now, everyone is going to wait and see what this team decides, but this kind of anxiety isn’t what anyone was hoping for. It’s bad enough the team traded away Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, but now the Kansas City supporters have to worry about the team relocating too? Donovan has a lot of local citizens blasting him all over social media and that’s sure to continue for the next few days.
