The Packers need to get Aaron Rodgers some help if they want another Super Bowl title. Here’s how they can do that via the 2022 NFL Draft.

Aaron Rodgers is short on weapons after Green Bay’s decision to deal Davante Adams to the Raiders. Fortunately for the Packers, they possess a large amount of draft capital that can be used to address their self-inflicted need.

Wide receiver isn’t the only need Green Bay faces heading into the draft. Finding some interior offensive line help designed to keep Rodgers upright would also be advisable.

The defensive depth chart looks stable heading into next season but Green Bay needs to add more young talent on that side of the ball. Add it all up and the Packers’ front office is well-positioned to take the best player available with most of their picks. Read on to discover what the NFC North team might do with each of this year’s selections.

Round 1: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

It would be a major surprise if the Packers don’t use one of their two first-round picks to land an immediate starter at wide receiver. An early run on the position is likely going to force Green Bay to address their most profound need with their earliest selection at No. 22 overall.

Burks doesn’t have blazing speed but he possesses all of the other traits required to succeed on the outside at the NFL level. His large catch radius and ability to break tackles after the catch should appeal strongly to the Packers’ front office. Drafting him at 22 might be a slight reach but Rodgers won’t be complaining.

Round 1: Kenyon Green, IOL, Texas A&M

This pick at No. 28 will likely come down to which guard Green Bay likes the most. The choice between Green and Zion Johnson is a coin flip for most teams. Look for the Packers to gamble on Green’s athleticism advantage with their second first-round selection.
